Samuel Delgado

Professor of Drawing, Painting,

illustration, tattoo, comics, manga, character creation and concept art.

He studied illustration at the Joso comic school and pictorial and applied wall arts at “La Massana”.

In 2008 he began working at the “Acció” animation studios in Cerdanyola and in the field of illustration and graphic design.

Between 2012-2014, with T&B Editores and together with Azpiri, DKillerpanda and other authors, he created illustrations in textbooks for the International Week of Fantastic and Horror Film on the Costa del Sol.

Later he held exhibitions of his works (“Herbari Floral” at the Liceu and the

Ramblas de Barcelona) and carries out large-scale pictorial interventions in Brno (Czech Republic) under the guidance of Petr Kvicala.

In 2013 he won the Sants Young Art Award in the painting category.

In 2014 she worked for “Fundació Maresme” creating children’s stories and illustrations on different themes.

During 2014-2015 he worked as an oil portrait artist for the VIP lounge at Jeddah airport in Saudi Arabia.

In 2015 he won the third Humet Saula painting prize.

In recent years he has continued to train under figurative and impressionist masters in the field of oil painting and creating expressive watercolor studies.

He has worked as a teacher of drawing, painting, illustration, comics and concept art at the Taure Academy since 2012, but continues to do work for the comics and illustration industry and in the field of figurative painting.
