Samira Ben

She graduated in Illustration from the Escola d’Art Superior i Disseny de les Illes Balears. Shortly thereafter, she began working as an instructor of drawing, painting, and character design at the Academia Renacimiento in Palma de Mallorca, while also taking on commissions for the Mallorcan underground scene.

Their inspiration stems from studying key influences—such as Alan Lee—and exploring a personal style defined by dark fantasy. In recent years, they have reconnected with traditional techniques, discovering a deep love for pencil and paint.

Teaching has also been an enriching path for her: it allows her to explore new perspectives, grow as an illustrator, and enjoy her students’ progress.
