Drawing:

Beginning the basics or specific work in a theoretical area such as figures, faces, or perspective. Specialization in a beginner or advanced technique: graphite, pastel, charcoal, ink, etc.

Painting:

Introduction to one of the following techniques: oil, watercolor, or acrylic. Delve deeper into a specific subject (basic drawing skills required).

Illustration, comic / manga, concept:

Comics and Manga. Fantasy Illustration: Introduction to project methodology, as well as basic techniques, including pencil, ink, and color. This includes focusing on figures, perspective, and environments, or creating a comic book page or illustrating an advanced image.

Concept Art y creación de personajes: inicio a la metodología para la proyección de ejercicios básicos, así como sus herramientas más usuales junto con su técnica.

Digital Arts and 3D Modeling

During the course, students will practice and complete exercises and studies in composition, anatomy, clothing, accessories, materials, lighting, image editing, and rendering; all with the goal of being able to generate their own work.
What is the ultimate goal? Students must be able to generate a graphic presentation of their own design for a character, setting, or asset.

Initial: For those who want to delve into this world, a presentation will be given to help illustrate how to work, the steps to follow, and address frequently asked questions. From the beginning, students will learn how to use the drawing program to acquire good habits and work in the most orderly, clean, and precise way to avoid future problems.
Advanced: We will raise the bar, improving, explaining, and questioning professional values, as well as the technical quality of the drawing, speed, and clarification of the idea or concept.

Ceramics / Sculpture Course

Day 2: Basic Modeling Techniques

Introduction to the group and the space.
Introduction to types of clay and tools.
Pinch modeling of a simple first piece (bowl, or organic shape).
Brief explanation of the importance of drying times
Objective: start the first piece and spark curiosity.

Day 2: Basic Modeling Techniques

Explanation and demonstration: sheets.
Making a functional or decorative piece.
Introduction to textures and basic raw decoration.

Day 3: Introduction to the Wheel

Practical demonstration of wheel use: centering, opening, and raising.
Rotating shifts of assisted practice.
Continuation of hand-turned pieces for those not currently working on the wheel.
Display of slip decoration results to help you plan for the next day’s decorations.

Day 4: Wheel (Second Turn) and Finishes

Second round on the wheel: repeat, refine, or rework.
Cleaning, fine-tuning, and decorating dry pieces.
Introduction to the use of slips and simple finishes.

Day 5: Free Work + Closing Ceremonies

Open session to finish pieces, decorate, or repeat experiences.
Review of completed work.
Brief talk about the firing process and glaze types.
Selection of glaze (3 different types).
Explanation of the subsequent process: collecting pieces after firing.
